We stopped at Port au Choix, Newfoundland, and had a lovely little meal in a restaurant called The Anchor. The waitress was funny and very helpful. We enjoyed our meal. With full tummies we drove to the Pointe Riche National Park to see the monuments and lighthouse. It was very windy out there and again the vegetation was stunted and sparse.
As we started to head north to St. Anthony there was more and more pack ice in the bays. This is something I have never seen before.
