After our walk around Bowring Park we drove down to the docks and harbour and saw St. John's from the waterfront. I had a great chat with two crab fishermen who were preparing to go to sea for six days fishing. We went to the mouth of the harbour where some young men were driving golf balls into the water. The streets were so narrow that if you meet someone coming the opposite way, one car has to back out of the road until a slightly wider spot is found for passing.
We ended the day by going out for supper at the Wild Horses Restaurant in Portugal Cove. All in all it was another great day in Newfoundland.
