Last Saturday I was honoured to be the photographer for Faye and Roger's wedding. This was no ordinary wedding, they have been married for 50 years and to mark the occasion they decided to renew their wedding vows. It was a wonderful ceremony attended by a full house at Milford Lantz United Church. The gathering watched as Faye and Roger exchanged newly purchased rings, said their vows, lit a union candle and received the blessing of not only Lori Crocker (Diaconal Minister at the church) but their three children, their grandchildren and two great-grandchildren, and all their friends and family who came to support them.

What struck me most was the loving glow in their eyes as they looked at each other and the symbol of strength and unity as they held hands tightly throughout most of the service.
